Grantham is where the first lady Prime Minister in the UK, Margaret Thatcher was raised.  Grantham is also the famous birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton, who discovered gravity.  

There is a small Museum (free) in the town centre.

TringingBell, is a safe haven, a Bed and Breakfast which offers you a comfortable room.  A friendly space with homebaking.  It started in July 2013 and has just relocated to Grantham, Lincolnshire so is still sparkly new, with crisp clean egyptian cotton linen and towels and squeaky clean bathroom/shower room. 

Alison the Proprietor has self-employed in guest houses for a few years and has a degree in business studies and another degree.  Food hygiene standards and cleanliness are paramount to us.

Fire standards and safety of our guests are always important to us.  

We are "green" when we can been, recycling packaging went appropriate. 

During the CovID-19 we have implemented safe distancing. Disposable Gloves are always worn when preparing food, and guest have their own fridge and microwave in their room.

The building is newer than the victorian one in Scotland, but it is nearer for the London international airports, than Scotland, and it is warmer!  Everything is informal so if you want to eat in the room with a takeaway or get a home delivery of food, you can do this too. Sainsbury's supermarket is 2 minutes walk away. 

As Tringingbell is very near the town centre, but behind a large Sainsbury's superstore, there is no busy traffic passing by.  There are pubs and takeaways just a 5 minute/short walk along by the river, through the small parks, or you can go via the streets too. 

It is quiet and peaceful, in the B & B. The house is central heated with double glazing.  

There is an opportunity to have a Scottish cooked breakfast, in England, sleep in a cosy, comfy orthopedic mattress bed and relax: Free WIFI, Free tea and coffee facilities, with complimentary homebaking. Complimentary soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, so no need to worry about bringing any of these things.
